02 / Approach
An approach you
can follow.
From the current situation to a practical configuration. With clear agreements, visibility into changes and documentation for ongoing management.
01
Review the environment
We review the current environment, the problem and the intended outcome.
What this step provides
A shared understanding of the situation and intended outcome.
02
Agree the plan
I outline the approach, scope and dependencies. We agree who is responsible for each step.
What this step provides
A defined project with tasks and responsibilities.
03
Implement and check
I implement the agreed changes and check the results.
What this step provides
A record of the changes, checks and remaining open items.
04
Document and hand over
You receive an overview of the configuration, open items and next steps.
What this step provides
Documentation that supports daily management and the next step.
The sequence and depth are adapted to the project. Dependencies and decision points are considered in the schedule.
Practical
Practical
arrangements.
How we work together, whatever the assignment.
01
Remote and on site
Much of the work can be done remotely. Where needed I come over: from Dordrecht I work across the Randstad and Brabant, including longer on-site assignments.
02
Projects, one-off jobs and longer engagements
From a review of a few hours to a programme of several months. Directly or through an agency.
03
Scope, planning and rate agreed up front
After an introduction I put in writing what I will do, when and at what rate. Extra work is discussed before it happens.
04
Always documented
Every assignment ends with an overview of the setup, open points and next steps.
Your next step
What does your
IT environment need?
For a project or a one-off assignment, tell me about the problem and what you want to achieve. We can then discuss the approach and scope.
