Services / Migrations
Migrations.
Without stopping the work.
Active Directory, device and Microsoft 365 migrations and the move to Windows 11: prepared per group, carried out under control and completed with aftercare.
01
What I migrate
From outdated or merged environments to a new, manageable setup.
Including
- Active Directory and device migrations, including with Quest Migration Manager
- Migrations to Microsoft 365: Exchange, SharePoint and Teams
- Windows 10 to Windows 11
- Post-migration scripts for profiles, settings and network configuration
02
How I approach it
A migration succeeds in the preparation. I map dependencies, split users into groups and agree a moment, a check and a fallback scenario for each group.
Steps
- Impact analysis and planning per group
- Test migration and validation
- Execution in agreed maintenance windows
- Aftercare and user support
03
From practice
For an international information services company, I carried out a business-critical AD and device migration for more than 1,200 users across multiple Dutch locations. Before that, as a system administrator at an MSP, I migrated several SMB organisations to Microsoft 365.
Frequently asked questions
Good to know.
How do you keep a migration from disrupting staff?
By migrating per group, testing in advance and choosing a moment that suits the work. After the switch, scripts fix recurring settings, and users get support during and after the migration.
Do you also handle smaller migrations?
Yes. Besides large programmes, I also migrate smaller organisations, for example from an on-premises Exchange server to Microsoft 365.
What do I get after a migration?
An overview of what was migrated, what was checked and which points are still open, together with the scripts and procedures used.

What does your
IT environment need?
For a project or a one-off assignment, tell me about the problem and what you want to achieve. We can then discuss the approach and scope.
